The PADI ReActivate program is a convenient way to refresh your scuba skills and knowledge if you haven’t been diving in a while. Whether you’ve been out of the water for 6 months or several years, ReActivate helps you feel confident, safe, and ready to dive again.

Why Take the ReActivate Program?

• Get back up to speed on dive theory, safety procedures, and gear setup.
• Practice essential in-water skills like mask clearing, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures.
• Receive an updated certification card with your ReActivated date, which many dive shops appreciate (and sometimes require).
• Great for travelers or those planning to take advanced courses soon.

What You’ll Do:

1. Knowledge Review:
   • Interactive eLearning covering dive planning, safety, equipment, and problem-solving.
2. In-Water Skills Session:
   • With a PADI Professional, you’ll review and practice key skills in a pool or confined water setting.
   • Skills include mask clearing, regulator recovery, out-of-air scenarios, buoyancy control, and more.

Requirements:

• Must have a PADI (or equivalent) certification.
• There’s no minimum age or time since your last dive, but it’s especially recommended after 6–12 months of no diving.
• No dive medical required unless you have new health conditions.

Outcome:

• You’ll get a ReActivated eCard showing your original certification level and the date of your refresher.
• Your dive confidence will be back, and you’ll be safer and more prepared for your next dive or course.

Even if a dive shop doesn’t require it, completing ReActivate shows you’re serious about safety and can help you get more out of your trip or training.
