The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to expand your diving skills and knowledge, allowing you to dive to 30 meters/100 feet and giving you the confidence to handle a variety of diving conditions. It’s a great follow-up to your Open Water Diver certification and a steppingstone to even more advanced diving experiences.

What You’ll Learn:

The course is flexible and can be customized to your interests. It includes 5 adventure dives, two of which are required, and three can be chosen based on your preferences.

1. Deep Dive: Learn how to manage the challenges of diving deeper, including gas consumption and nitrogen narcosis.
2. Underwater Navigation: Improve your navigation skills using a compass and natural techniques, so you can find your way even in unfamiliar waters.

For the remaining 3 dives, you can choose from specialties such as:

• Night Diving
• Wreck Diving
• Search and Recovery
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Drift Diving
• Underwater Photography
• Fish Identification

Course Structure:

• 5 dives (2 required: Deep and Navigation, plus 3 elective dives)
• Typically completed over 3-4 days.
• You’ll spend time in both the classroom and the water, learning theory and gaining hands-on experience.

• PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent from another agency)
• Minimum age: 12 years old (for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
